Silly question. If my ribbing is 105 stitches and the row along the ribbing says pick up 131 stitches am I right in that I do an extra stitch every 4?

I’m lost. What are you making? What do you mean work the number of stitches you’re comfortable with? Isn’t there a pattern you’re following that would require a certain number of stitches? I’m sure it’s me.

In the crocheted round video, I did the step right but instead a flat circle I got a half of a round ball😢

I am bad at counting and sometimes can't remember if I did a one or two. How can you look at the yarn you are working nwith to figure out if you have just done a single crochet once or twice?

I cannot see WHERE to place stitches across a ribbing. You keep putting your thumbs in the way. Truly frustrating. My need is not for the math but for the stitch placement. Sigh

This was very helpful. Thank you! I havent crocheted in over 15 years and decided to get into it again because i wanted to make a stuffed animal for a friend's baby boy and every pice starts with a round and my beginning stitches kept migrating around from the original beginning point and couldn't figure out what i was doing wrong. Turns outninwas essentially skipping the first stitch everytime and adding a stich in the end.

I didn’t make a circle, it turned into a bowl! I am really happy since I’ve wanted to learn how to do one but I didn’t know how to, hopefully I’ll make a circle instead soon tho:)
